BlueSkies for Children is committed to building an inclusive and diverse community, and a crucial part of that commitment continues to be a community with socioeconomic diversity.  One of the most important strategies to foster that diversity is our ability to offer reduced tuition to families that qualify, and we are able to do that exclusively through our various fundraising efforts.

Ways to Give

Planned Giving: We offer plans at varying levels for monthly or annual giving. Set up is a breeze and once you have entered your information the donation occurs automatically on your schedule until you change it.

Matching Gifts: We can help you identify if your company will match a donation or offers donations on behalf of employees. If you already know your company offers this, get in touch with your HR department to determine next steps!

Legacy: Your gift can support generations to come if you choose to list BlueSkies as a beneficiary of your will or living trust. You may choose to give a percentage or a specific amount. Alternatively, you can make BlueSkies for Children a “contingent” beneficiary. You will maintain control of your assets and can make changes at any time.

Why Donate?

We believe that all children deserve high quality care.  Research shows that children who participate in a quality preschool program are more likely to succeed in school and in life than their peers who do not.

"I am appreciative beyond words that the scholarship fund at BlueSkies has given our family the ability to receive high quality daycare so that I can continue my career as a public servant. I can recall the stress and anxiety I felt while pregnant that I may have to leave my baby in an environment where the quality of care was uncertain, based on prior experiences. I will forever be grateful of this opportunity.”

"It has been an honor and blessing for my daughter to receive the scholarship. We are so proud to be part of the BlueSkies community. Since she started at BlueSkies, she has flourished to be the most confident, social, and independent child. We are so grateful for the experience she had in this rich and thoughtful environment. Thank you BlueSkies!"

"Our family has benefited greatly from the scholarship at BlueSkies. It has allowed us to provide our child with quality daycare at a price we can afford, whereas other more ‘affordable’ centers do not always offer the best quality of care."

"This scholarship has been a big help to us in our financial distress and overall well-being. It means a lot to us as a low-income family because it enables us to focus on our work, knowing that our child is in safe, nurturing learning environments. We are grateful for the nutritional meals and life affirming experiences she receives."

"I was one of those new parents who felt nervous every time I couldn’t lay eyes on my child. But from the moment I left him with the Wobbly Walkers I had a new sensation of trust—that he was getting the best care possible. From an early age the staff at the school knew that he was different and through the years have helped us as parents recognize and nurture his learning differences. Now as he heads to kindergarten his special needs are something that we have a grasp on and that we know will thrive in the future. Without financial assistance, full time enrollment would have been out of our grasp and I feel especially fortunate to have gotten a scholarship for Blue Skies."
