BlueSkies enrolls about 85 children, aged 2 months to 5 years, in six age-appropriate classrooms. Most children enter the program before 18 months of age and continue until they leave for kindergarten, but a child can join the program at any age provided an opening is available. To apply, complete the application form (PDF) and return it via mail or hand delivery with the $35 fee. If there is not an opening for your child, you will be asked if you would like to be put in the waiting pool. Whenever an appropriate opening is available you will be informed. As the openings are unpredictable and may result in a very specific need in order to keep a balanced class (e.g., a girl born in the summer of 2004), it is never possible to indicate "rank" in the waiting pool. Sometimes children are on the list for years, while others wait very briefly. The following enrollment blocks are offered: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday: MINIMUM Enrollment Optionally, these blocks may be added: • 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. • 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. • 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. • 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. There are three options for Friday enrollment: 1. Fridays the same as Monday-Thursday 2. Fridays off 3. Fridays with a shorter schedule than Monday-Thursday

Enrollment hours are initially established on the contract which is signed by parents and the Co-Director at the time of enrollment. These hours may be changed, effective at the beginning of a month, as long as there are sufficient staff and class space to accommodate the request. To change enrollment hours the parent completes the appropriate section on an Information Update form and gives it to the Program Director for approval.
